Big world, small paws!

I have been away for a while, but now I am back… in full force.  I hope you all had a great holiday.  Mine was very relaxing and low key.  Kip ended up not going to Colorado due to all the snow they got there (and yes, who wants to hang out in wetness) and so, he stayed with B an I for the holidays.  They both bought each other one gift and gave themselves one each as well.  So funny, these humans.  (Note:  They forgot to give me a gift.  Shameful!  Just shameful!)

B got a new TV (finally) and Kip got a new camera.  The camera is so nice and cool and there was lots of picture taking going on over the weekend.  I am going to post a couple here for you to see.

This is me under the chair in the kitchen trying to get Kip’s attention.  As you can see I am very good at this.  He was shooting some nice portraits of B’s friend Kara.  But since I am so cute and adorable, he had to take a pic of me as well.

I really like this new pic of me.  B took it while I was sitting on the heater in the kitchen.  I generally do not like it when she disturbs me during my nap, but the new camera was pretty exciting and so I just had to look up.

As I mentioned, the two new photographers also took some pics of our friend Kara.  They came out really well and you can probably check them out on her Friendster profile. (She is linked to me.  Just look for the pretty curly haired brunette.)  Looks like B and Kip are going to take many more portraits and if any of you want to step in as models, I am sure the two of them will be delighted.  Plus, you will mostly likely get to see me if you come over to our house for the picture taking.  Interested?  Just send me an email.  I will make sure it gets to them.

Kittens and humans… My apologies!  It has been almost impossible to update my blog lately.  I am searching online for proper gifts for B and Kip and this has been taking up all my time.  In addition, B has been using the ‘puter at night to search for vacation rental in the Tuscany.  Mama and Papa Schellenberg and her are looking to go there at the end of May next year.  Kip is still a maybe, but I am already upset.  Who is going to take care of me during this time?  B’s friends are nice and kind to me, but they are not snuggable.  Sigh, I am always left out of these vacation adventures and I even would learn some Italian.  I may have to skip out on that extra cute sweater that I found for B just to make her aware that she also has to give to get.

If you have been reading my blog, you must know how much I am in love with soccer balls, soccer shirts, soccer players, great goals, offside rules, shin guards, overtime and penalty shots.  You must also know that I attribute the success of the German national team to the one and only Juergen Klinsmann.  Well, it looks like the Americans want to model themselves on the Germans.  Rumor has it Klinsi is taken over. 

B and I watched the AKC Eukanuba dog show this weekend.  This is always an exciting event for both of us.  I like to size up the toy group and guess on how many of those little pinchers I can beat up and B likes to check out the Labs and Weimaraners.  She was rooting for Houston, who won the BBE award.  I admit that he is a handsome fellow.  I am not sure if we would get along, but I bet you that his long coat would come in handy when I am cold at night.

Now, I beg to question why there is not cat show that is being aired on the AP channel?
